The CMPI Quartet has had a number of great opportunities lately! We performed Jessie Montgomery’s Strum on a Chicago Symphony Orchestra Salon Series on April 26. Then, we had a masterclass with Jessie Montgomery, working with her on her own work. We also are playing a series of pre-concert performances for the CSO May 5-7.

The Hyacinth Quartet enjoyed a masterclass this past April with the Spektral Quartet. We worked on the Grieg String Quartet and the Bacewicz String Quartet #4. Thanks to MIC and the Harris Theatre for making this class possible.
